Comfortable, clean, A/C and great location. Easy to walk to busy areas while being much quieter. Manager is very polite, and there’s included drinking water which is always a plus. Spacious shower. Simple stay but great ratio of comfort:price if that’s what’s you’re looking for.

I was at Elim Homestay from Oct 9, 2023 until Dec 1, 2023 and finally took the time to write a well-deserved review. George and his wife were so kind and welcoming to me. I was traveling as a solo female in India for several months and this adorable place became my sense of "home". I felt very safe at Elim Homestay and honestly could tell that George and his wife truly care about their guests. I had lively conversations with George ( whose English was spot on!) And he taught me many things about the culture of India. He taught me how to handle the "pushiness" of TukTuk drivers and let me know everything I needed to know in order to keep myself safe while there. One of their daughters got married while I was there and I was even invited to attend the wedding! Another daughter was home on Holiday from college in Georgia when I first arrived and I absolutely adored her energy. Her Amma certainly missed her when she returned to school and allowed me to hold space for her while she let herself feel some feelings. I definitely felt like I was family with them.
That's just the hospitality I received, what makes it even better was the quality of the room itself. It was so spacious and had plenty of storage. It was honestly like a small apartment rather than a room. I had cold a/c and excellent wifi! The refrigerator was really big and worked wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and cleaning services were available as needed ( with completely new bedding every 3 days!). OH, and the bathroom was huge with toilet and shower both working great!
Everything you could need is within walking distance, including the ocean! There was always a celebration going on in the streets and the balconies on each floor provides a great place to sit and watch it from a birds eye view. I will definitely stay there again when I return to India in the future. I truly miss my little life and neighborhood in Ft. Kochi.. I will treasure my memories always and I'm so grateful for the safe and lovely home I found in Elim Homestay. ❤️

Very pleasant and comforting.
Very much happy with the greeting from the owner on check in.
and the room was excellent. We arrived with a five member group and a child and booked for a single room. we all where extremely happy with the service and care.
the owner even re arranged the room for better comfort by himself because our group contains old women and a child so split up beds where not Ideal for us.
I will definitely recommend the place for my people and I have already fixed my place to stay, on my next visit to Fort Kochi with another group..

George and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms are simple and clean and the location is central to most locations in Fort Kochi. Great place to stay for a visit!

Georg was an amazing host. He and his wife welcomed us with lemonade and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were clean. Communication was good. Hot and running water.

George and his wife were so kind and welcoming to me. I was traveling as a solo female in India for several months and this adorable place became my sense of \\\"home\\\". I felt very safe at Elim Homestay and honestly could tell that George and his wife truly care about their guests. I had lively conversations with George ( whose English was spot on!) And he taught me many things about the culture of India. He taught me how to handle the \\\"pushiness\\\" of TukTuk drivers and let me know everything I needed to know in order to keep myself safe while there. One of their daughters got married while I was there and I was even invited to attend the wedding! Another daughter was home on Holiday from college in Georgia when I first arrived and I absolutely adored her energy. Her Amma certainly missed her when she returned to school and allowed me to hold space for her while she let herself feel some feelings. I definitely felt like I was family with them.\\nThat's just the hospitality I received, what makes it even better was the quality of the room itself. It was so spacious and had plenty of storage. It was honestly like a small apartment rather than a room. I had cold a/c and excellent wifi! The refrigerator was really big and worked wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and cleaning services were available as needed ( with completely new bedding every 3 days!). OH, and the bathroom was huge with toilet and shower both working great!\\nEverything you could need is within walking distance, including the ocean! There was always a celebration going on in the streets and the balconies on each floor provides a great place to sit and watch it from a birds eye view. I will definitely stay there again when I return to India in the future. I truly miss my little life and neighborhood in Ft. Kochi..
